The engine compartment is still the factory original paint. It has the factory rubber sealant on all the body seams which is something you don't see on restored cars.
The engine is the correct 948cc. I have the complete built sheet on the engine. It is stock specification. It has 2 brand new HS1 S.U. carbs . I took the car to Boston to have the carbs set up properly by the best British car technician. The radiator, water pump and thermostat are new. I had the heater core tested and cleaned. I took apart the heater cover and carefully re-sprayed it black.The heater works great.
There is nothing out of place in the engine compartment. The large heater air hose replacement was expensive but is is very close to original and looks perfect. This car has the original horn which is rare and unique to this car. It also has the seldom seen bonnet rod clipped into place across the front of the radiator.
